1. Before you comment, please familiarise yourself with the concept of irony. I am not cruel to my horses and they do not hate me. That is a joke. They're well treated, well kept, happy and they enjoy their work.
2. Yes, it is advisable to wear a hat if you're jumping. I am exercising my right to free will in this video. I'm not recommending other people do it, so don't bother ranting at me if you don't approve. It really isn't any of your busines.
And finally and most obviously:
3. No, he's NOT a clydesdale, the caption refers to comment on an older video, from some idiot who thought he was. So no more comments saying "that's not a clydesdale". I KNOW.
UPDATE - this gets loads of comments - I do read them all eventually but I miss some when they're first posted (youtube is a twit!) so if you don't get a reply, don't take it personally - I realy appreciate you guys watching and commenting!
And yes, I know he's not a Clydesdale, it's a joke ;) some muppet thought he was :P
ty x
This is gonna be short cos it's the middle of the night and I gotta be up for work way too soon :/
First off, I nicked the second song off xxRayenxx. who is cool and should be subbed to :) plus she eats people who say silly things.
Like the quotations at the start. niiice, huh? well the first I think this chap knows very little about horses, if he thinks my beastie is a clyde! haha it made me lol. As for the others. half of me is incensed by the rudeness and the insinuations. There are so many reasons why they'rer invalid and unfair. But what can you do? At least the othe half of me is laughing at the arrogance of these kids - they can't ride themselves but feel they can insult me? LOL. The sort of kids who go on a natural horsemanship training day and think themselves experts. Well it may be unfashionable these days, but i think natural horsemanship is a load of bull, it's no more natural than anything else - but I respect people's rights to disagree and practice it on their own horses! Just don't tell me to do it! But hey, as I say, they gave me a laugh xD
Anyhow mentions for:
strawbericalpony and the afore mentioned xxRayenxx for being cool and fighting my corner xD =)
NB loving the comments, ILY guys! I shall reply this eve.
Just for clarification, regarding NH - "a load of bull" it was late and this is more offensive than I'd normally be. I have two disagreements with it - firstly the holier than thou attitude of SOME people who do send Mr Parelli and Mr Roberts large sums of money on a regular basis. You can be bad at NH despite the expensive tuition, same as you can spend a fortune on a showjumping stallion and lessons every day and still fail! Most of the NH people on here I know aren't like that, they're normal and accept different ideas and attitudes, without thinking they're morally superior (which they aren't and neither am I!) and they aren't the ones who throw money at it, to be "fashionable", they just do it (normally at home without much guidance) because they believe in it and they do a damn fine job. (Hat tip, Emai, Coley etc!)
Secondly I don't like the expense of it - if you beleive your training methods can improve the welfare and happiness of horses, I don't think you should turn it into a cash cow - make a living yes, but the big names have taken it too far - it prevents normal people from learning about it, and makes it inaccessible to large numbers of horse owners. Imo that's not ethical. And they aren't half arrogant either (personal experience!).
Finally, I'd say a lot of it is common sense, I've been mistaken for someone who does NH myself (because i do groundwork and use body language) - that's because NH is much broader than one or two trainers, and it invades classical and traditional methods too. I just use what suits my horses :) and common sense is a good thing. I just don't want to pay $X to be told it xD
0:15 is that a highland?xx

Ok. Now correct me if I'm wrong but I do believe that your friend who has been mistaken as a Clysdale is in truth a Gyspy Vanner. If that is the case then I must tell you that he is one handsome boy and I am insanely jealous. Ever since I saw them I've wanted one.

@Reggie8795 he's an irish cob, which is similar to vanners in the states, yes. they're lovely horses, hope you get your own one day!
