In this video I demonstrate a modification I made on a stock Anderson Hollow Classic with stacked single coil pickups: SA1 SA1 and SD1. The schematic is included in the video if you are interested in making the mod on your guitar. The way Anderson stacked single coils work is that the lower coil comes in "out of phase" to become hum canceling. In the standard mode, the lower coil is not engaged. I never have had a problem with hum, so I never used the hum canceling mode of these pickups. So I changed the hum canceling mode to a "super-fat-single-coil" mode with the stacked pickups in phase. Of course I preserved the beautiful stock sound of the Anderson single coils! The switch now goes back and forth between standard single coil and super-single coil.
Nice job !
I am trying to find the old TA diagram for the TA Classic.
3 single coils (VAs) one Volume , one Tone Push/pull.
When pulled, the tone knob engaged the bridge pickup (add bridge). . Could you please help me on that? could you do the diagram?
a million thanks!
