Hi Everyone. I'm Ron. I'm not a lawyer but I made this short video for all the single parents out there who want to get visitation for their child without an Attorney. In this Video, I give the essential instructions on how to do just that. if you have any questions, just leave them in the comments and I'll respond as quick as I can. Just so you know, you're not stuck. YOU CAN SEE YOUR CHILD. Just follow these steps. :) - Ron

  • Ron, after 9 years divorced, my x has drummed up charges and filed a motion for temp suspention of parenting time. Since then, I havent seen my daughter for 3 months. I have filed for contempt . Are there forms for witness and special forms for evidence? I cant find these for my county court.

  • @DWMCMILLION When you filed for contempt I'm sure it was for a good reason. At the same time, you should have put forth some evidence and a witness list when you filed for contempt. Also, you and your ex must speak at the courthouse prior to entering the courtroom. So your ex the evidence, see the reaction thats given to you. You will need an opening statement, testmony- either by you or a witness, evidence, and a closing statement. Does your Ex have an attorney? Let me know-Ron

  • To everyone who has watched this video..I will be posting more videos this week. They will include contempt and change of custody due to failure to comply with visitation. I hope this video has helped you guys out.

  • Thanks Ron, very helpful.

I have question...I lost custody becuase I move out from country for re-married.

I want to visit or wnat my son to visit me sometimes. But my son is scared to tell his Dad (my ex who has solo custody). He ask me to ask his dad directly to get permission to see my son. I know we can not reach agreement. In that case, can I file Motion to get visitation right?

  • @youcallincanada Definately. Go to the county and court where your son resides, make sure you have the address where your son lives also, and file a motion to visitation. Since your his mother...after a little time goes by once you establish visiation..I would file for joint custody. A Judge will more than likely grant you that since you are your son's mother. You need to be as civil as possible with his dad. Keep notes of conversations and text messages. So Let me know how it works out :)
