The Java API Love song was written at Carnegie Mellon by John Brieger and Justin Singer. Sorry for the blurry compiler images, i think you'll have to HQ in order to read them. Both Justin and John are programmers, and are currently working on a variety of non-musical projects. The song is loaded with Java-y goodness, so enjoy.

Full lyrics are below:

Well your GUI ain't pretty
but you're pretty much the most beautiful
application I have ever seen

and you can run right from the console,
and I don't even mind it,
as long as you are running for me

if I were to make a list of every element that I
would do with you

it would be an Arraylist,
and its mutable length would avoid
index out of bounds exceptions
out of bounds exceptional girl
and we coudl dot add or dot insert as we please
dot fill it with our love from right inside my IDE
coding free
so perfectly

Heap sort out your feelings
and binary search your soul
set loneliness Object
referencing to null
the java API can say it better than I
want to Application Programming Interface with you

If you and I were Strings
I would put us together using String
Concatenation
If you and I were Integers
I never would divide us
to avoid
integer truncation

and class MyLove extends AHug
implements AFeeling
and my do while loop will run until your heart's done healing
and I know
that everything between us is just fine
and I am sure
System.out.println

Heap sort out your feelings
and binary search your soul
set loneliness Object
referencing to null
the java API can say it better than I
want to Application Programming Interface with you

our inputs to the hash may be quite different
but when I read it I am somehow finding
though the odds of a collision
are 1 in 2 to the N
you and I are colliding

so arrays dot swap your sadness for happiness
'cause all of our booleans return true
the java API can say it better than I
want to Application Programming Interface with you

when you're finished bubble-sorting your data set of troubles
casting all your integers so that they won't be doubles
we can go
infinitely recursive
and you will
Runtime Exception away
with me
