This was at a large variety show and we were invited to do this piece that is an old country standard that features members of the band in various individual solos

SHAY TOCHNER REMINDS ME THAT IT WAS A VARIETY SHOW WITH FULL ORCHESTRA AND THE NAME OF THE SHOW WAS "ALLEGRO"

We had a lot of fun with this piece over the years but somehow this is one of the quintessential moments of "TAVERN MAN" and the "classic" lineup with Paul Moore David Deckelbaum Jonathan Miller Shay Tochner Elisha Avshalom and Dave Gould

This was the extended version of Mama Don't Allow and it shows you The Taverners, to the Taverners for the Taverners and by the Taverners

I've told my daughter about Elisha's amazing whistling; now she actually got to hear him - at least a little bit. Got any recordings/videos of him doing a longer whistling solo? (It was so cool to see you all again, just like the good ol' days. The 2 Davids are immortal, thanks to YouTube!)
