@myway43 Thanks. No the seat on here is original (with a homemade cover under the rider to conceal a crack in the vinyl). I think the the touring saddle was an option on 77-79 models as plenty do have that seat. It may have just been a popular after market seat to compliment the full touring look. Gold Wings didn't come fully kitted stock until 1980.

Beautiful! I have an old 1100 that I am seriously thinking about taking the bags off of. It is a mess and non-running. I want to get the bags off to be able to work on it. Did this bike originally have the two seat touring saddle? Thanks
