  • Were there no special moves like the fireball or dragonpunch on the Speccy version?

  • @Edam3000 Just the basic crouch punch and kick combos. Even a fireball would have come in handy.

  • yo target renagade was the one on spectrum 128k

  • Only the best peccy fighter regardless of what others say. Great graphics and at least one hit didn't end the round.

  • I loved Street Fighter 1 regardless of what ultraborb says.

on the spectrum version, all opponents except for Geki and Sagat could be beaten by crouching and punching :) Geki and Sagat messed this up by throwing things at you :\

  • I enjoyed playing this game. A nice variety of different characters and pleasing graphics. Maybe a bit tough on later levels but a pretty good game.

  • Birdie and Eagle from England. Nice.

  • I used to enjoy this on the spectrum. One question though how comes Ryu's energy is not being affected, even when he is punched. Stop Cheating! :-)

  • The whole point of Street Fighter was that the buttons were sensitive to the amount of pressure you used on them, this could never transfer over to a home computer. And even if they could, the arcade game was shite anyway.

  • @SPINNYFUCK True; and I wonder if the Amstrad or C64 versions were the same?

  • better than the amstrad port imo...

  • what strenght!! but don't forget there are many guys like you all over the world! was so poor in the arcade when it said that, could barely understand it.

  • where did they sell games like this back then?

  • It looks better than the commodore 64 version.
