@TheDewManchoo THIS. Everything you said. Times 100. I have both nostrils and my septum pierced. The pain was relatively minimal, but I still teared up quite badly or all three. It's just how the body worked, and it is nothing like crying.

Also, it seems to be a go-to insult to tell someone getting pierced that they're not tough. There are LIMITLESS reasons why people modify their bodies. To take one and generalize is ignorant and shameful.

@bzhxblue Your eyes watering is a physiological response to an irritant in the nose, as a way to flush out whatever is inside it and prevent it from being inhaled into the lungs. Getting a large piece of cartilage cut out of your nose qualifies as irritating. On another note... Who said he was a "badass"? Or do you just base that assumption on the fact he likes to get pierced? Just because someone has piercings doesn't mean they're trying to be badass. It just means they like getting pierced.
