"Shards" tribute (Rise of the Triad)

I've always thought that this game has an awesome and totally underrated OST (written by Bob Prince and Lee Jackson, BTW), so I finally decided to make an orchestral metal tribute to one of the tracks: "Shards" (rott23.mid).

It's very conservative in terms of structure and instrumentation, but I added some solos, a proper ending, and stuff.

PS: guitars are synthesized, sorry if they sound too crappy.

BTW, I'd LOVE to hear Havana Smooth played on real instruments. I mean, that track is AWESOME, it's not only a very good video game track, IMO it also works as a great "standalone" song.

@Fernito69 Thanks again. BTW, I like the bit that starts around 1:33 into the song, plus the solos and the trombone sforzandi you used in spots. The only suggestion I'd have would be about the drum kit - It gets lost in the mix due to the tight head sound. It'd probably work better if you used a heavier-sounding kit with an auditorium-like reverb to match the brass and strings.

It always amazes me when one of my songs inspires someone else to be creative like this. Keep it up!!!
