  • @siknin1 No he sold this and now has a newer 350z. The beretta he was racing in this vid was a 15.2@90 car, so no telling how fast this car really couldve been with 10psi or so and a better tune with sticky tires, possibly 13s.

  • @circlelt1 was it using an fmu set up? I installed megasquirt on mine but anyway..... It still looked pretty quick tho. Does the guy still have it?

  • @siknin1 Not sure of the elevation, it was near ames Iowa in these vids. Im thinking supporting mods and turbo size could be a deciding factor being that 5psi varies from turbo to turbo. The setup on this probe was a very basic throw-together build done in the garage for probably less than a grand.

  • quick probe tho

  • @circlelt1 4.5psi on a probe should trap over 100mph unless you live way way above sea level. I did 105mph on 5psi.

  • @circlelt1 I had to rebuild the engine (gaskets blew) its back to stocky :(

  • @hottom3rd stock 3400 vs. stock quad4 = very hard time for the quad4 against the 3400... Id say the 3400 would win on that. You would have to swap to 92+ gearing and even a nice exhaust to beat that stock 3400 V6. My gtz does have W41 cams, chip, header and 2,5" exhaust and should be in the 14s and still not sure if my car would have beaten that probe that easily... 200whp are about 220-230 engine hp. A stock gtz is doin about 160-165whp... so think about that :)

  • @jbirht Actually that is the cameraguy talking. He was pointing out that the probe was kicking butt without trying very hard and untuned and on very low boost.
