Good luck with the pipe making. It is good fun. I have used beech and walnut also. Thanks for subscribing to my channel. I have subbed you too.

Great stuff mate, I will look forward to your next instalment. I vote a sitting dubliner shape, you can heat the stem and bend it if you wish.
Cheers

What a great video! I'm a city-dweller, so it was nice to be temporarily transported to the great outdoors for a (virtual) pipe and scotch. Your delivery is conversational and funny...fun to listen to. I'd suggest a traditional billiard for that first pipe, or if not, then perhaps a freehand. Years ago, I was sitting outside under the stars with a cigar. Wearing short pants. I felt a tingle on the top part of my thigh...my cigar singing the leg hairs. That woke me right up. Happy puffs!

That's a good start....looks like a full size billard or maybe a dudlin to me...

@hjrosasq Well im lucky enough to have access to a lathe at my dad's work, and then a rounded spade bit for the bowl. Not sure how I'll finish the shaping though, but I'll have a better idea once im done!

@TheTobaccoburner Fan of the Glenlivet, or else have a fair bit of Jamesons (irish, not scotch but all the same...)
