Good angle and technique. However, too physical, something is missing from internal. I dont know how to say it.

It's a shame that, gutlic and JGGraham are not open minded. I saw the videos of Takeno sensei and also Kashiwaya/Tohei. They looked as rehearsed as any. Unreleastic attacks in there videos. Creativeness in the arts allows for growth. People are looking for self defense not japanese tradition and spiritual crap.

Totally agree with JGGraham.
Dreadfull practice of... Don't really know what to call it, but it does not seem aikido.
we sould be carefull using the word "Master".
My teacher, is a GREAT very humble Aikido 4Dan, 2dan Kendo, uchideshi of a 70year old 7dan Aikido MASTER.
The tecnical director of the school is an incredivel 5dan.
I'm used to see greatness. And this isn't it. This is wrestling.

(cont'd)This was a disgraceful display of ego.Techniques practiced in that manner can be easily resisted as well,do not be fooled by the grunting,the ukes were quite compliant here.If you are interested in seeing REAL,truly powerful technique search for Takeno sensei,also Kashiwaya/Tohei have marvelous demos available on youtube.The logos on the back of the gi's are just an example the McDojos of aikido.

I agree with kuni,the strikes at the end are only to show off,aikido techniques end in pins not meant to permanently injure an opponent,then nage can maintain control while not harming uke.

lol i only really trust vids of japanese martists doing "real" japanese martial arts on youtube anymore
same with korean and chinese styles of martial arts
"real" aikido is harmony with the opponent (by defianition of the name)
that looked like you just wanted to be aggressive to show off to the little kids
