This video shows me grooming a new section of trail that we recently added to our vintage snowmobile trail. I'm using my homebuilt trail groomer and homebuilt drag. This was it's second season and so far, it's worked very well. I have a couple of minor mods I plan on doing to it this summer, but nothing major.

  • nice job bud i biult my own to its lots of fun.

  • @hillbillyironworks Thanks for your comment. I had a look at yours and it's pretty neat. What kind of engine and tranny are you running?

  • A four stroke would have been quieter thus making the radio feesable.

  • @gmc07joe I agree with that. But I used what I had on hand while I was building the machine to save some cash. My thinking was that in time, good used 4-stroke sled engines will become more readily available at reasonable prices and I hope to eventually install a Turbo 660 Arctic Cat engine in this rig. I'm starting to look for an insurance write-off 660 Cat from which I could snag an engine. Thanks for your comment.

  • can i buy this from you? thats sweet!

  • Hello cropdusterpilot....sorry, but it's not for sale. I have way too much time invested in it to consider selling it and I need it to maintain our narrower snowmobile trails. But thanks for your interest.
