Just wondering, why didn't John take your Knight on d5 with his Bishop at 1:58 ? The only defender of your Knight is your Queen, but the Bishop is protected by the Knight (so if you take with the Queen you lose the Queen). Not only does this give John a free Knight, he is also attaking the Rook, and can capture it next turn regardless of what you do (I think). This seems like a brilliant move - he wins a Knight and Rook for free. Have I missed anything?

Accually c6 (slav defence) is pretty good I play it with success. The knight problem is solved by developing that last to d7 after the light squared bishop moves to a useful position. It works for me.

It should be up in 10-15 minutes.
Actually c6 isn't such a bad move in this position. It defends the d5 pawn and the b-knight can still go to a6 or d7. The knights dont have to be developped al the time to c6 or f6. Oke, it are the best squaresto develop them to but if the charcastics of the game says otherwise you can develop those knights to other squares.

I have noticed in some of my defeats that the knights are developed to the squares you listed above, so I totally agree.
