Night Tide (1961) Theatrical Trailer

The misleading trailer to the wonderful NIGHT TIDE. This was the underrated Curtis Harrington's first feature film (and his best from what I've seen) and one of Dennis Hopper's earliest films. It's often described as a mood piece and I agree. Go see it!

I'm obsessed by this movie. I watch it over and over. Its something about the atmosphere, the mood set by the music. The strangeness around the canals of Venice. I love the apartment over the carousel.

it's not at all a horror, just a great suspense movie; two love stories included; beautiful light/shadow play; some shots might have inspired alfred hitchock. I LOVE this movie.
