My 8 months old baby with my Rottweiler male Gibson 22 months, the real side of the Rottweiler. NOTE: This is my dog and I know and trust him, I can't speak for every other Rottweiler or other breed out there how they act around a small child. So please don't take any chances or leave any dog and child alone, not even for 1 second!! Thanks...

So sorry that you lost such a wonderful companion. My family lost one of our rots to cancer as well. The other to hip dysphasia. You'll always have those memories that keep them alive in your hearts. Rottweiler's truly are very misunderstood creatures. They're honestly some of the best friends/protectors you could ever have. Thank you for sharing this beautiful memory with all of us.

Watching videos like this reminds me of the rotties I had growing up. We rescued one and she loved women and children. I never had to worry about being bitten with her. The only two dogs that have ever bitten me were a black lab and a beagle. I can't wait until I have a place of my own where I can have a rottweiler again.

@lawyertobanker I'm so sorry! I know how you feel, I lost my baby Nico early January of this year. She was 11 years old. I'm just glad she went first, as I know she would have been lost had I have gone first, as I'm sure Toby would have been without you.
