It's not just neighborhoods and affordable housing we're losing. I just heard that after 30 years in West Hollywood, A Different Light Bookstore is closing its doors. What kind of community will we end up with if city government won't support the small locally-owned businesses that give life to our community. The redevelopment of Santa Monica Blvd was supposed to help foster small business not kill it off!! Tragic. I hope Ms.Meister can win, because we need a voice like hers in Weho!
