Revamp Nation -- The Band
Birthed from the love of collaborative music, this group formed over 1 year ago is made up of 3 members, Jemaine Roberts, Dan Strong and Jason Townsend. With influences from a variety of genres including, Jay-z, Linkin Park, Muse and Red, this group has swiftly re-defined the South African rock genre into something very unique by collaborating various genres into a single specific heart pulsating sound. With every great moment comes a great name, and so Revamp Nation was born. Production of Revamp Nations debut album "Break the Silence" began in June 2010. Since then an entire album has been completed, 3 music videos have been shot and a multitude of photo shoots have ensued.
Since the initial launch of Revamp Nation, They have already shared the stage with various big names such as, Zebra and Giraffe but to name a few.
All this has been done as a single un-signed independent artist. It proves that with a little passion and drive, great music will always make its way out of the minds and hearts of these artists to be heard by the masses and to finally break the silence.
With all this taken into consideration, Revamp Nation is sure to be established as one of South Africa newest premium bands.

Dan "not so" Strong
Born in the South Coast and later moving to Pietermaritzburg, this 20 year old accounting student was born with a love of music in his soul. At the tender young age of 12 he pursued this love and it evolved into a passion for the Guitar. As he aged he found a new love for the bass guitar and so it stuck. Joining Revamp Nation after a brief conversation with the lead singer Jemaine Roberts, he quickly cemented his place as the bands bassist and "go to" funny guy / clown.
Jason "slapped with a wet newspaper" Townsend
This Tattoo loving, drum stick swinging, no meat eating 33 yr old drummer has been an iconic influential member of the drumming community in South Africa for over 12 years. Jason has appeared on stage as a part of South African Drum festivals alongside international drummers such as Marco Minnemann and Russ Miller. He has tracked drums for over 10 albums to date and has finally found his home as the rhythm machine of Revamp Nation.
Jemaine "coffee coloured gent" Roberts
This twenty-five year old lead vocalist and electric guitarist of Revamp Nation is a music producer and engineer by day and super hero by night. Having grown up in Port Elizabeth, Jemaine moved to Johannesburg to pursue his love of music. As the initial founding member of the Band Revamp Nation, Jemaine carries a unique passion for his music, which comes across every time you press play. Having studied music in New York city, Jemaine was greatly influenced by the local New York hip hop scene which he then brought back to Sunny South Africa, this was the beginning of Revamp Nation....
