that might just b one of the most pointless checks i have ever seen

I've used this check a lot with a shortstick, as long as you hit their stick or gloves its legal. but if you miss and hit their helmet or body the ref tends to call a penalty. its a sick check

is this completely illegal now? i heard 2011 rules are supposed to be you cant check with the butt end of the stick at all =/ that would be a major buzzkill
