  • Larry is behind the camera, glass expert is a local fisherman. These yaks are tough so no major damage of course the gel coat gets scratched but thats not a major issue just minor maintenance, yeah plastic is great in rivers but cant compete with performance of composite yaks at sea, speed, weight, hull performance etc.

  • Ok folks Larry is working on his latest skills and tips DVD, had an early showing at the NSW R&R and will be on again at QLD club wkd later this yr. Hope to release final in coming months. Ro...

  • "youve ran into somthing somewhere"

    lols :D:D

  • Did the guy say "Fuck me dead"? Cool video, the kayaks survived.

  • another great vid nice 1 guy's

  • awesome, but NO bloody way I'm doing that in my 2 pittaraks...

  • Yall should look into getting plastic yaks, as they are WAY more durable than glass or carbon. As an aircraft mechanic I find glass and carbon kayaks to be seriously inferior, as they lack abrasion and impact resistance(PISS POOR!!!!) especialy for the price...

  • If you use them like that I bet those boats don't last long. Needs a rebuild and new gel coat every month. It's easy to do it in a company demo boat and just walk away. Nice skills though.

  • Blimey! How badly damaged are the kayaks after this sort of punishment? I'd be terrified to do that to my own kayak!

  • Are Mirages this durable... actually I wondered how the full length keel would cope.

Is Larry the charming 'glass expert in blue near the end?
