http://www.comingsoontrailers.com - This is a very controversial story out of south florida from the sun sentinel. A Transgendered high school male student wins Prom Queen at his High School. I mean really... Was he the prettiest "girl" at that school? If not I wonder what this does to the psyche of the real girls that were running from prom queen to be beat out by a transgendered guy....

wow....

  • I'm happy for her, for winning it. But "transgendered" isn't even a word. It's transgender. And she's a transgender female, not male. When talking about a trans* person you ALWAYS use the terms of their preferred gender. If someone called me a transgender women I would hit them.

  • AMAZING

  • @ernest33060 Bitch your fly, and BEAUTIFUL.....Fuck them and the haters. Keep doing you, you look so pretty btw! =)

  • Go on with ur bad self :-)

  • SHE, HER, MISS, FEMALE its not that hard ppl, ugh

  • @Wallylex why do u think its offensive that a transwoman competes on the same footing with "other" women. Shes a woman too so y is it unfair?

  • Can't mess with their psyche too much if they VOTED her Queen! Way to go girl and voters! WOOT WOOT!!!!!

  • @thejordan753: I guess it's a good thing that the rest of us can distinguish between man and woman as the social constructs that they are. And it IS fair because females can be Prom Kings.

  • @13dushane: Not really. The differences between genders at this age are like the differences between race. And you'll know what I'm saying if you've ever studied anthropology.

  • @thejordan753 I know what you mean... I have only respect for people from the LGBT community fighting for their rights and all, but somehow as a woman I find it really unfair and offensiveeven that a transexual competes "on the same footing" with other women... I think this will not be even considered unfair by the media until a former woman starts competing against men and winning over them.
