  • its an esky 0704b

  • power up in heading hold mode (led on) switch to rate mode (led off) if you have a lazy susan or test rig put it on that, if not then training gear and the heli on a smooth surface. power up heli and adjust tail servo until heli stays stable, ( if the tail moves to the right move servo towards body, to the left move servo to tail) then you're done. power off and the gyro should keep the tail in HH mode.

  • Gary, any solutions to may rudder servo it keeps creeping! i've already adjusted the servo and tx it just wouldnt hold steady on HH mode. Thanks mate, nice informative video for newbies like me.

  • Hi which gyro is it? pm sent.

  • Heliguy do a one for the Falcon 3d for £27.99

  • Hello! Ive been wanting to upgrade my gyro to a head holding gyro and I have a EK2-0406G radio like you in your video. Please let me know what brand and model that is, if you dont mind it would be very helpful! :)

Im just not sure how to tell if a gyro will work or not with my radio because I did buy a head holding gyro awhile back(EK2-0704B) and it did NOT work with my radio.

If there is anything you can do to help I would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks again!

  • Thanks, Gary. Your suggestions on finding the best orientation for the gyro eliminated a lot of confusion for me. Cheers!

  • An align RCE500 gyro should do - only £25 with a cheap digital servo should take you to about £55 in total

  • Good vid mate, i'm thinking of upgrading my std esky gyro on my belt cp to a hh gyro. Not really keen on forking out nearly £100 on a futaba gy401, any sudjustions would be great?
