I hate Blood parrots they are total freaks and shouldnt even exist are far as I'm concerned.
Do yourself and the Nic a favour and get rid of it and get few more Nics that way you might get a viable fry from from a pair of real fish . Peace

My GT is almost that big but when he was 2", he got into with a JD and it left a scar on the side of his head. Dark color never came back.

That is not a green terror. It is a false green terror or more commonly known as the gold saum green terror. Very Beautiful fish!

mine's growing steadily..got it abt 2 weeks ago....roughly 1.5 inches....
can u tell hw much time will it take to grow upto the size u hav ??

Holy Hell, I bought one of these a few days ago, he's only at about an inch and a half right now, and the card said they top out at about six inches!! I have him in a 30 gal with two filters running separate cycles, and then have a 55 set up the same way that already has an albino tiger and a red oscar in it. Should I move him to the bigger tank once he grows a bit more? If I put him in now he's food for sure.

@Thunderwrap I'd leave things as they are.(possibley get bigger tanks for both ;-)
