The word is CLUTCH! The most important trait in a player is the ability to rise to the occasion and Linden had that. 2 goals in game 7, i believe it was the tying goal against the czechs in nagano before what shall not be mentioned, and even when he was a role player at the tail end he put up 7 points in a series. Heart and soul, he deserved a cup more than most.

who would have thought that after this it would be another ten years until another canadian team would have reached the stanley cup, calgary? ..still this stanley cup here brought back lots of memories and i miss the old days and the old music!

If hockey is about how many you score, Naslund is the greatest Canucks. But we all know that's not true. It's about WHEN you score them. This guy was a 4th liner, and still helped Vancouver to beat a team 2 years ago that they had no business beating in 7 games. Sure, you had Louie and Captain Kirk, but Trevor made you believe that against all odds you always had a chance if you gave it everything you had.

Look at that mug. That's the face of a champion. Maybe they didn't win the cup but they sure deserved it. Alot more then fucking Mark Messier who gave Trevor the cheapshot in game 6.
