Hi mate. I used thick cardboard as a backing then stretched the bed sheet over it. Worked well, we have a screen now though.

Good evening.
Advantages I would say, HUGE screen size for minimal cost.
Can be set up in any room to maximise your viewing potential, for example, the World Cup, movies etc, we've thought about having a garden party with horror movies in the summer.
Drawbacks, it's a noisy machine, it kicks of a lot of heat, environmental conditions need to be spot on, not much light etc
I have to admit I didn't notice the rainbow effect at first, but I do now, it doesn't bother me though.
