GUIDING LIGHT - March 2009 "Come A Little Closer"

A quiet, depressed Christina walks into Company, where she sadly brushes Remy's invitation to breakfast.

Later, Christina is cleaning up (Because that useless Marina can't do it herself I guess), Remy tells Christina it was really great how she was watching out for Reva. Christina says Jeffrey and Reva must have a great marriage. Remy said maybe that's what marriage is all about, helping eachother through the tough times, referencing her revoked scholarship. Remy said he was really sorry about how things were going for them, wishing he could make things better. Christina said he does, most of the time. She really likes having him around. Christina likes doing things together with him, and the two of them start to smile. Studying, ridealongs, pushups, she loves it all.

Christina and Remy are cozily leaning over the bar at Company. They've been married Four months, one week, six days and six hours. Remy apologizes she didn't get a real wedding. Christina said she's sorry he didn't get a real bachelor party. Remy says he's sorry she didn't get a real bridal shower. Christina said she's sorry they didn't get a real honeymoon, and Remy, lost in her eyes, leans in and kisses her. Christina wraps her arms around him but Remy sees a disturbed customer looking uncomfortably at them. The two of them burst out laughing, embarassed. Remy says he has an idea, and grabs his jacket. Remy takes Christina by the hand and leads her outside, takes her under the staircase at the boarding house, wraps his jacket around her, and the two passionately kiss.
