  • Why is it TERRIBLE? and HORRIBLE?

  • so cute. :) i think it's great that you treat them so nicely even if they are used for meat. i'm a vegetarian because i don't agree with how the animals are treated or handled. if people could raise and treat their meat animals the way you guys do, i would definatley start to eat meat again. :)

  • thanks! I was a vegetarian until I started raising my own animals. I eat them in season, though, so really, about 75% of my year is vegetarian. I don't really eat meat until the cooler months set in. I don't think our bodies are made to eat meat continually. Living where I do I have the great beauty of 4 seasons and it makes it completely possible to eat in season. My husband and I call it "Ecotarianism". Thanks for stopping by!

  • hey gaiasrose, i raise rabbits for food also. dont let that drooling prozac head get to you,he will be standing in a bread line soon wishing he had some delecious rabbit dumplings. thats the best part about a depression, a lot of dumb asses like him will starve .

  • very true! I just hate that people think you can't love your animals prior to culling them in. have you taken in any animals yet this season? we are planning on three rabbits, a goat and about 30 chickens next Saturday!

  • very nice setup! im glad you use a large space for them to roam a bit :). i raise meat rabbits too, and my philosophy is that if your the one taking the animal's life, you have to let it life its short life in luxury. bravo!

  • what do you mean a couple months??? does are pregnant for only 28-34 days. and a pregnant doe needs to have her own large cage cuz when the babies are born the mom will eat them cuz of stress of the other rabbit. you need to know what your doing BEFORE going and getting rabbits to breed...GOSH

  • you peopel make me sick

  • i think thats a terabull thing to do

  • thats hore bull

  • Hmmm, you can't really show your rabbits, you have no pure breds (Delilah doesn't look like a mini rex). Unless your just letting your kids show them in pet classes or something

  • @ anakfoor:

I agree, I don't think it's a Mini Rex. You can somewhat tell by her coat, and it kind of looks like normal instead of Rex fur. She may just be a Mini Rex mix, or something. But also, she is a Broken, but if she was a Castor, it's not a normal shade of Castor.

  • RABBIT STEW!!! YUM

  • 6 months. and wow i breed mini rex. She is not a mini rex, sorry
