On July 25, 2009, a hustle dance was held at Clay's Stage in Costa Mesa -- about an hour's drive from either Los Angeles or San Diego. Dancers enjoy the "underground" atmosphere of the dance, as well as the quality of the sound system. There is no charge for admission although dancers are encouraged to bring a snack or beverage to share with the rest of the dancers. It's a friendly atmosphere.
