the rival i bought was horrible, it sent texts without me hitting send, it turned on in my pocket randomly, and it broke within 6 weeks. I didnt drop it or anything, the screen just stopped working. When i got the replacement it died within a month because all of the screws holding the slider fell into the phone. Never buy the Motorola Rival it sucks.

pros- some times it comes on ! - long lasting battery

cons- screen goes out/freezes  - send messages with out me pressing send - my ass calls numbers even though the phone is supposed to be on lock - sound goes out - can't download music -worst phone ever don't waist your time or money !

i cant believe this phone. i love it. i can text on this phone faster than any of my others. it held together extremely well. i dropped it down the sewer (never got it back) when it was there, it was under water for about 2 hours and it still turned on. we tried using a pole with duct tape on the end but we never got it. all in all, i say this phone is something to keep.

stupidest phone ever it sucks i put a simple 5 dollars in the back of the case when it was on and just decided to go on fire - _ -

the hardware is not "nice and tight" the left corner could lift up on mine. when i got it replaced for another rival, (because my contract was not up yet) they just said i had a lemon. these comments are saying the same things that happened to mine, so i wouldn't call that a "lemon". this phone sucks never buy it. short and sweet.

ive had this phone for almost 2 years now...& honestly, this phone sucks. The metal on the center button is cheap, so when i press it it leaves a scratch. The touch buttons randomly go off like crazy and i sometimes have to turn it off for it to calm down. Also, it says messages dont send when they actually are. It receives messages really late as well. Sometimes it randomly just turns off, and the keyboard buttons are plasticy, and ive used mine so much that u cant even tell when u press it.
