This was my brother's favorite episode. Not mine, but I'd say it's probably one of the best. Classic Lost, before we really knew anything about anything except the characters.

Ethan and Goodwin really set the tone for The Others before Ben. Such likable, reasonable, friendly guys at first (and I still believe they really were), but they were still as crazy loyal to their cause as the rest. I loved the red herring here when Nathan said he was from Canada like Ethan did, haha.

It wouldn't be hard to find out - just look for youtube video that includes Jack either opening or closing his eyes, or just look at pictures - they're clearly brown.

Only Locke, Henry (Ben), Charlie, and Claire have blue eyes, I correct myself there.

Only 4/9 of the people you listed have blue eyes.
