@localcrew I actually cut them to 1 inch in hopes that I would end up with 3/4 in the end, but only time will tell. Thanks for the compliments, they seem rare these days, lol.

I hope that you cut your 1Xs into 1 1/8" thickness. By the time they dry out, shrink, and twist/cup a little you'll need that extra meat to play with. Those were some super nice logs too! I love coming across nice walnut like that. I have about 600 bd/ft kiln dried, sitting in my garage right now. Better make some boxes or something. Maybe a table or two. Nice vid! Yet for some reason, there are four haters... Heh.

@HaikuAutomation True, if someone is looking for speed I would suggest a 20hp gas motor. I use my machine less than some others so this speed is good for me.
