The line "She is amazing grace" remains with me long after the first hearing of your poem. (Yes, there have been several already, hehe). This is certainly added to my favourites.

Oh my! You say none on earth can do her justice with words, I therefore must conclude that you, sir, are not from earth ;) This poem is wonderfully powerful. For me, it was a glimpse into a perspective I can never have the experience of truly understanding - for it is the perspective concerning women by a man, and it is extraordinary. Thank you for writing this poem. If there are women like Cindy in the world, and men that can recognise it, then we are not so doomed after all ;)

@DavidRandallCurtis I thought I had your Skype address, but you never seem to be online!

I can't believe you said that, I'm writing at this very moment.

loveyou: Oh you are way too kind... thanks for all the nice stuff you've said... I guess the Yin to the Yang of this poem would be I CAME HOME TO FIND THIS ON THE ANSWERING MACHINE - every word was actually left on my answering machine... all I did was edit it down - I didn't rewrite anything - and she said, "It's obvious from your writing you don't know me at all". :P
David I love the poem, but personally I think it needs a little more flow...

This is a beautiful poem, David. No one could doubt that you love this woman. I could see her in your poem, and I love her too!

@Largo64: Thank you Larry. I wish you would skype me like the skype whore that I am. I'd love to talk to you someday in real time... :P

If this can provide any sense of reason, further to that puzzling paradox, I have pushed some of the finest people I know out of my life. It's illogical and sad but it serves as such a powerful lesson to me now to embrace, value and honor the people who cross my path and reach out to me. Also, there are people who come into your life before you are fully equipped to deal with them.

loveyou: I hear that. Boy, do I hear that. You know... what you just brought up would be a great subject for a poem. Hmmmm.... :P
