I love Velvet Goldmine. Christian Bale is another great "character" actor ala Jonathan Rhys Meyers. You should see him in RESCUE DAWN. He's a downed US Navy Pilot that is a prisoner in a Vietnam camp. He plays a really "nut job character". Then there's AMERICAN PSYCHO. The guy is just an awesome "character" actor ala Jonathan Rhys Meyers. I'm American but I feel our male actors here are so over rated. I've become big fans of the U.K., Ausssie and Irish Actors (JRM, C.BALE, C.Farrell)

The shots where he is walking along the crowded streets, and the split second at 1'16" are in Croydon, south London, UK. It's not really New York, 1984, it's my home town! He is here right now again, same location, filming the next Batman movie. Apparently they are going to blow up one of the buildings you see here, right in the centre of that long shot, only in CGI of course. Google: Batman Croydon if you don't believe me.

Thanks for this video, I love him so much, that it hurts, he is the sexiest man alive, everyone else is just BS. He should have been on top of all hollywood heroes, undoubtedly he should be the next James Bond. why is he underestimated in Hollywood, I dont get it.
