A new Salvation Army Thrift Store was nearly set up in the former Morning Glory Antique Mall's building on Ponderosa Way. The organization had spent about $30,000 in rent, equipment and labor preparing for the opening next month of what would have been its only south-Shasta County store, Capt. Wayne Wetter said Friday.
