Kakori House in Mahim prides itself as being the guardians of the Kakori Kebab. The restaurant serves authentic Awadhi cuisine. Head chef and Kakori house founder Ishtiyaque Qureshi's version of the Kakori Kebab is a must-try at this Mahim eatery. Three portions of these kebabs come in a serving that costs Rs 160. That's the price to pay for juicy tender slices of heaven. As the legend goes, a Lucknow Nawab had lost all hsi teeth and ordered his chefs to create a kebab that could be swallowed easily. His chefs created a winner with the Kakori and everyone was happy. This kebab took its name from this area outside Lucknow.

  • Amazing and professionally done Chef Qureshi!. Thank you. Can you please post the recipe of the kebab. I am not sure what quantities the ingredients you mention are to be put into the mince.
