Notice: This video uses an OUTDATED process. See version 2 for the new process.

Ever wonder what I do behind the scenes when I process my videos? The process is quite easy, even though it doesn't appear to be. The method and steps also seem a bit bizarre, but almost everything uses open source software. I narrate throughout the entire video while I show you the method I use to process videos with (with the waits for processing being sped up). My display is 1920x1440, and the video was recorded at 640x480 meaning only a small section is shown. That section moves with the mouse cursor. This video demonstrates what I did behind the scenes when making the "SMB2 - Coaster Odd Method" video.

  • man I always wonder

  • This is an old video and even the currently available version 2 is a bit out of date, just so you know.

  • no, i don't really wonder :(

  • This is an extremely old version. Even version 2, the current newest, is outdated as my methods have changed.

  • wait did he even make a joke in this one? I can't remember anymore.

  • I'm just expecting him to break down and start explaining the binary code which make his jokes funny.

  • Noooo! Don't change the source code for each file you're working on! That's what "argc" and "argv" are for!

  • Yeah I just found this vid and was responding to sinisterene's comment :)

  • so do you do that as a proper job or something

  • It shouldn't be that difficult. I have other videos were I say it as well. As a side note, I have other future projects as well, George Game 13 is likely to be my first 3D game and I have a 3D RPG game that follows. Before GG13, though, I may have a simpler 3D program to get started with 3D stuff, of which of, with C, is completely unfamiliar. I've used Gamestudio in the past though so I have many of the basics down.
