Libba Massey - 2010 University of Texas Distinguished Alumnus

Elizabeth "Libba" Shatto Massey, BS '61, is a civic leader and philanthropist who has served The University of Texas and Texas Exes through numerous committee, board and council appointments. She has served on the UT College of Education Advisory Council since 1996 and held the position of chair from 2005 to 2009. She has served on the development board of the University since 2003 and is currently serving a two-year term as its chair. Massey is also co-chair of the University of Texas Capital Campaign, which will continue through 2014, and serves as a current member of the executive committee of the Chancellors Council for the UT System.
