excuse me, but since you are like the obvious guru of the G25/7s I would like to ask you a question. My shifter recently just started only registering the 8 and 9 buttons in LFS and even on the profiler. Ive tried to reinstall the drivers and the profiler but the only combinations I get on there is 8 and 9. when I go to 3rd to assign it, it goes back to 8 then 4th is 9 again. I dont really know if the shifter is faulty or if its the programming please give me a hand.

At 0:19 section of the video it looks like the paddle is making contact with the plastic, is that just a bad angle I am looking at? Just a thought.

@kenestra1 Good eyes. That plastic is actually the stopper to prevent the original paddles from having too much travel, it does the same job with the replacement as well.
