A week after T-posts were put it, it's time to remove suckers and the occasional rootstock shoot. Montepulciano vines are growing robustly and need to be trained up the T-posts and topped when they reach 36 inches in height.

  • I heard that putting "used" kitty litter down the holes will keep the gophers at bay.
