This would be a very good book for a teen, but I think for mature readers it really seems quite flat. However, my opinion is based on the first 13 issues, and am currently about to read the next Ultimate Collection hardcover that I got from a friend. its worth a read, but I don't understand the hype and fan base around it.

@johnnyhorror92182 agreed. I found it was heavily focused on action, and really lacked any character development. Quite often villains just pop out of nowhere with no explanation.. and overall the world seemed flat to me.
