ATI 4890 + NVIDIA GTX 275. Pics and a 'few' benchmarks

The 4890 almost beats the GTX 285 and even beats it in some games, I know as I went from a 4890 to a GTX 285 which costed 200 more.:P Way overpriced, too much power draw, too hot, and 0 impressive results.

@BynDStyleZ you didn't add anything to what i said before i mean performance wise, the only thing you don't see is that price wise the GTX480 is NOT really in between the 5870 and 5970 more to the 5970 side! just check any dealer you want they sell here for 500€-560€ and by adding 40€ you can get pretty much easly a HD5970

@InitialDAmine stop comparing the gtx480 with the 5970.The Nvidia developers declared that the gtx 480 will be between the 5870 and the 5970 which all tests prove that :)

gtx 275 kicks the 4890 in it's nuts !i ati is better than nvidia only on ultra-high end pc systems....how many of you out there can afford an Intel i7...over 6gb of Ram. just to so you will not give the ati card a bottleneck effect...nvidia practically is more adaptive...i managed with 9800GT to play chrysis on almost very high settings with some modest specs like : core2duo e8200..2gb of ram at 667 freq. and the game was extremely playable. Nvidia FTW !

@thereddog223 oh really?! a GTX275 is faster than the 4890 ok then prove it my friend, in every availible comparaison of both cards the HD4890 is faster.

faster Single GPU yes after 7 months, and not to mention it cost almost as much a HD5970 , with the low stock suppleys, and when you buy a CG you don't care if it is a single or bigpu you care about brute performance and the HD5970 is miles ahead compared to the GTX480

@illmagnified  the HD5970 beats the GTX480 tessellation on or off and every bench availible. the gtx480 digg quite a noticeable gap with the HD5870 when it comes to tessellation but overall the diffrence is about 10% or less and if considering the price diffrence and the overlocking capabilities ....the story changes...

Dude even the gtx 275 is faster then the 4890 and the gtx 480 is the single fastest gpu right now.

@thereddog223 and why woudn't be that the HD5xxx that came some months after the GT2xx? i'm just folowing your own logic which is flawed.,and i know what the 295 is made off the video was made in april 2009 and the only models that were selling are GTX2xx.

And it doesn't really matter even the HD4xxx are more than enough to handle the GTX2xx
