Its really easy to do true duals! I have done it! The exhaust sounds better and gave me 9 whp according to my dyno pull at the All Chrysler Nationals this year. 190 whp and 224 wheel torque!

Yes this IS factory Exhaust. Its not a base 300M its a Special. Look it up there are a few others that sound exactly the same.

They are really reliable is you take care of them! There is a member of the 300M club who has 405K miles on his 2001 300m and it still looks and runs like new.
The standard 300m has a nice tone but sounds nothing like the special. The Special exhaust system canbe added very easily though.

Yes it is stock! The Special has a different setup then the standard 300M. Its not true duals, but sounds good. As mentioned above, try the Borla, or magnaflow as the others will have drone, that can be annoying on the freeway.
