When I received my Red Symbolic Rosary from the association many years ago, I began to recite it at the evening Blessed Sacrament devotions on first Fridays of the month. Once I became curious as to how many letters were in the Miraculous Medal prayer. I used the beads of the rosary and found that there are 54 letters. Exactly the number of beads in the main body of the rosary. Shortly thereafter, I began to recite this prayer at the end of each decade. The rosary is more meaningful now.
