From 1989, here is a news intro from WVUE out of New Orleans, LA, which was, at the time, the city's ABC affiliate (it is now Fox 8). Copyrights acknowledged. Mentions George Jones, Margaret Dubuisson, Ron Swoboda, and Bob Breck.

Cool intro, but who's the jazz musician pictured at the beginning and what song snippet was that playing over it?! Maybe someone knows! :o) Sounds like it could be Pete Fountain.
As far as the news theme song,... I have no clue who the production company was that created it,... and I've tried just about everything I could do.
