i pretty much do the same thing. get a movie or an album from tbp. if it's worth anything, i go to the record store and get the cd/dvd.
yeah, it seems like a waste. but artists who do a good job deserve to make a profit. artists who think they can rip people off... well at the very least, they shouldn't complain.

Pretty much what Lucky said. Its more of a supporting type thing. I feel better supporting the company, as games, movies, and music aren't made to be downloaded for free.
The only thing created to be pirated is Photoshop, hehe.

I will usually pirate if I would never purchase it otherwise. For example, if Bratz the movie was on my computer for free, I would be willing to watch it, but I would never pay to see it.
If I pirate a game, and enjoy it, then I will purcahse it, for example, Portal, which led me to the Orange Box :-)
