@celeferguson1 Any short piece or etude that shows you can articulate and play mildly complex rhythms (sixteenth notes, triplets, syncopation) and dynamics is fine. We actually played a jazz show this last year, so there's no reason jazz won't work, but it's probably not a typical marching band audition selection. And I'm not a random guy, I'm in the Bruin marching band too! :P Go for it! Band here is awesome!!

Hmm. I need some audition pieces for the Bruin Marching Band too! Got any recommendations? I think I need one for clarinet/soprano sax, alto sax, and bari sax (tuba pieces do nicely for that ;) ). All the good stuff I've got is jazz, and that probably won't work!

@idfkandrew I definitely would if you're interested. It was probably the best decision of my college career. There's a lot of cool people in the band and it really makes UCLA a lot smaller. If you have any other questions you can send me a message
