  • i just made a mask for my 10inch scope. i used diameter of 30cm and 1,5cm ring frame, cut from cardboard. my mask seems to work but the spikes are not too long, probably i have to paint the mask black (its cut from white cardboard). wikipedia also says the breadth of the grid needs to be customized for each aperture, is that true ? probly i have to make another one..

  • Mmmm, I'm not much agree of using that masks. Months ago I took borrowed one from a friend, and I focused it on Albireo... the result was too flary and cromatics wery quite exagerated. But maybe I didnt used it correctly... :)
