Depression and Children

According to research recently presented at the annual meeting of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, between 1990 and 2001, the number of children and adolescents diagnosed with depression doubled and the use of antidepressants increased from 44% to 59%.

Fresh fruit and vegetables diet cured my depression. Very quickly. The hardest thing to do is change your diet. Went back on my junk food diet and depression hit me again. This time I persisted with my healthy diet, depression gone again. Happiness is with me finally.

@GabbyKillsBor3dom me too... i feel exatly the same way! sometimes when i want to say it my mom just scolds my and swears at my and tell my to get out of her life.... sometimes she says right in front of me that she regrets giving birth to me....my classmates make my life so hard! there is this girl called tasneem, another one called sonya and one more called riya...they spreaded rumors about me and scold me for nothing alot! my cat is dying....and she has been there since i was born... peace...

@Sapphiregriffin my classmates hate me too.... i suspect i have depression... my mom doesent care at all.... i mean i cried over a change in my bedroom half a year ago and i still cry about it...

I'm in 7th Grade just aswell, I've been depressed all my life, Classmates, Teachers, even My Parents Hate me, when I talk to someone, they just used my sadness to an advantage or something....

I dunno, I might just commit suicide
