RD - 67 - I Did it Again

Roman and Diana finally make love to one of my favorite soap songs. It does cut kinda abruptly to after. Diana says 'Perfect' (probably what I'd say) and they both are very happy. :)

I so needed this after the horrors of the current storyline. I'd rather it be Marlena, but I need a true love story where both characters really care about each other and are nice.

Exactly! It seems like the writers used to love tormenting us forever for that first kiss, the first real talk, the first dance, etc. It drove me crazy, but I purely loved it when they finally got together. I miss it.

I remember reading the same thing they were trying to do the same from the love scene with Rob Redford and Meryl Streep. Days was at it's best they had so many amazing couples. ... Steve& Kayla, Justin& Adrienne, Shane & Kim, Roman & Diana... I really miss this, Soaps are not the same anymore. There was so much anticipation and build up before a couple actually got together. Thanks so much for the post.

Yeah, the circle turning was a little odd, but I still love these scenes. I remember reading in an article-- probably soap digest back then-- that Days was copying the love scene from the movie "Out of Africa". I never saw it, so I'm not sure how similar it really was to that?
