My brother, Jay, works for the Nature Conservancy. On March 23rd, he, one of his co-workers, Allan, and I took my nephew, Max, two of my sons, Drew and Tyler, and a friend, Cedric, canoeing on the Bayou Deview, near Brinkley, Arkansas. This is where the ivory-billed woodpecker was spotted. Drew took most of the video, hoping to catch a glimpse of the ivory-billed woodpecker, which--until recently--was thought to be extinct. We also enjoyed seeing some big cypress trees, which are thought to be hundreds of years old.
